Description

Voice Memo allows you to record a message that you can send to yourself in the future using a built in alarm calendar. This is a very precise way of telling yourself in detail, what you want yourself to be doing at a specific time. Remind yourself of an important event or task using the tone of your voice to convey a stronger message. Voice messages are very effective and precise since they convey a stronger sense of urgency compared to an email.

It doesn't work properly. It was waste of money.

II purchased the product and attempted a couple of trial runs. The voice Alarm app does pop up at the scheduled time, but instead of it playing back the recorded message, I get a loud annoying shreak for a couple of seconds. And too, I'm not quite understanding the; 'emailing of the voice alert'. If i can remeber to open the email at a desired time to hear the alert, then I should be able to remember what it is I'm looking to be alerted of at that time. Am I missing something?

GET THIS ONE!

After looking at all the audio recorders out there in the mac app store, this one was by far the best, cheapest one you will find. It saved me at 11:30 at night from not turning in an assignment for school. One of the features that I like about it is that you can mail your recordings really easily from your saved recordings on your computer.
It looks really nice, it works really nice, and so far has not dissapointed me. I recommend you get this one.

Not working

It is not working right now on my computer macbook air OSx 10.9. It was working before updating the OS but nobody seems to be taking care any longer of this app. So, I would like to know if the developers are working on an update or should I just toss it along with my money. What is happening right now is: Try to open it and crash immediately.

So you can arrange by kind to have images, documents, PDFs and spreadsheets stacked on each other. Or you can sort the groups by dates on the desktop. And if you tag files with metadata such as client names, those files can be stacked together.

Clicking on the stack expands the view of the files. Or you can use two fingers on a trackpad or one finger on a Multi-Touch mouse to scrub through stacks.

14.) Other Notable Enhancements

There are a number of other minor features that macOS Mojave contains. Here are some examples:

- Website icons (known as favicons) now appear in Safari tabs.

- Mail improvements: There is a new emoji button in the Mail app. And when you select a message in your inbox, it can suggest the mailbox to file it in.

Today Apple released macOS Mojave (version 10.14), which is the fifteenth major release of macOS. Apple originally announced macOS Mojave at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 4, 2018. Here is a breakdown of some of the features that you should know about:

1.) A Better Screenshot Experience

macOS Mojave has a new and improved Screenshot utility. When you press Shift-Command-5, you will see a new menu for screen recording and options for starting a timer, showing the cursor for taking a screenshot and the ability to choose where you want to save your screenshots.

When you take a screenshot, you will see a thumbnail of it animated at the corner of the screen just like how it works on iOS. If you leave the thumbnail there, then it will save it to the destination that you have selected. Or you can drag the thumbnail to a document or click on it to mark up the screenshot right away.

2.) Continuity Camera

Now when you take a photo, scan an object, or scan a document with your iPhone, it can be automatically be transferred to your Mac. This can be done by selecting “Insert a Photo” from the File menu. And you can take a photo of something on your desk to instantly add it into a Pages document. Or you can scan a receipt and have it immediately appear in the Finder as a PDF. Apple said that the Continuity Camera works with Finder, Mail, Messages, Notes, Pages, Keynote and Numbers.

3.) Dark Mode

Apple added a Dark Mode to macOS Mojave so that apps are easier on the eyes. You will be able to switch on Dark Mode from the General pane in System Preferences. This feature makes the menu bar and dock darker.

And some of Apple’s apps that will support Dark Mode at launch include Finder, Safari, Calendar, Messages, Xcode and the iWork suite (Pages, Numbers and Keynote). Third-party apps will also be able to add support for Dark Mode as well.

4.) Dynamic Desktop

The Dynamic Desktop feature matches the tone of the hour of the day wherever you are. So the sun will rise on your Mojave Desert wallpaper included in the macOS Mojave update when it is morning time and it will start setting when it is evening time.

5.) Finder Improvements

Finder now makes it easier to locate a file based on how it looks. And you can perform Quick Actions on files without having to open an app. And macOS Mojave has a new Gallery View where you can scroll through large previews of your files so that you can identify the ones you are looking for in an easier way.

6.) Group FaceTime

This year, Apple announced Group FaceTime with support for up to 32 people for iOS 12 and macOS Mojave. Group FaceTime works for both audio and video calls for Macs, iPhones, iPads and the Apple Watch.

7.) More Complete Metadata

Apple is now going to show all of a file’s metadata about any file that you are viewing in the Preview pane. Or you can customize the metadata that you want to see. For example, you will be able to see the camera model, aperture and exposure in the metadata of an image.

8.) New Mac App Store

The Mac App Store has been revamped with a new design and editorial content. Four of the most notable features in the new Mac App Store include a Discover section, themed tabs, Stories and a new App Preview.

In the Discover section of the Mac App Store, you will see the best new and updated apps, which are picked by Apple’s staff. And there are in-depth stories and videos about the apps in the Discover section as well.

There are four new themed tabs in the Mac App Store, which are Create, Work, Play and Develop. Each of these themes will feature curated content, tutorials and recommendations related to those themes.

The Stories feature will showcases content using images, videos and anecdotes from the developers and artists who built the apps.

And the App Previews give you a peek into the features of an app. This way you can see gameplay and how an app works before downloading it.

9.) News, Stocks, Home And Voice Memos Apps

Apple is bringing four of its most popular iOS apps to macOS. This includes News, Stocks, Home and Voice Memos.

10.) Privacy And Security Enhancements

macOS Mojave will require apps to get your approval before accessing the camera, microphone, Mail app and Messages databases on your Mac. And now when you browse using Safari, it can prevent advertisers from creating a “fingerprint” to track you as it uses a simplified system profile.

And there is an improved Intelligent Tracking Prevention system to keep embedded content like social media buttons from tracking you without your permission. This could potentially prevent advertisers from using retargeting tools to show you products that were previously viewed on other websites.

Plus macOS Mojave will help you pick passwords that can prevent hackers from getting into your system. Safari will be automatically able to create and store strong passwords for you. And Safari will flag existing passwords that have been reused in Safari preferences.

11.) Quick Actions

12.) Quick Look

Now when you tap the space bar, you can perform more actions to the specific kind of file that you are looking at. So you can mark up PDFs, rotate images and trim audio/video. Plus you can share files from Quick Look via Mail, Messages or AirDrop as well.
